Summary: When a battle to claim a Kryptonian artifact sends Lex and Clark to another world, they discover more than they expected - not only about each other but about themselves.
"It's not my fault you grabbed that crystal! You...wow…"
"We'll discuss who's responsible later, Clark. In the meantime, there's a path this way. We might find something if we follow it."
"Look at it, Lex! I've never seen anything like this before."
"Mmm-hmm. Beautiful."
"…Will you stop freaking out and just appreciate that we're on a different world, Lex? Come on! The sky's gorgeous!"
"I appreciate with every fiber of my being that we're on another world, Clark. However, it is another world with very different solar radiation, different diseases, different creatures that might try and eat us and, lest you forget, no idea of how to get home."
"…Different solar radiation?"
"Yes, Clark. The sun is apparently lavender-red if we are to judge by the color of the sky. As much as I appreciate the color lavender, I would prefer that we were home."
"Red sunlight?"
"…Did you just squeak?"
"No! Of course not. Um, why don't we follow that path you found? We really should get out of here."
"…"
"What?"
"You're more worried about the different sunlight than you are about being eaten or getting an alien disease."
"Um, yes?"
"…"
"Dangerous aliens? Going to eat us? Home?"
"…"
"Um, you could start walking and stop glaring, Lex."
"…"
"What?"
"You are the worst liar in the history of the universe, Clark."
"What?"
"Let's go."
"No, really. What?"
"Never mind. Let's just go climb that hill over there and see if we can see any signs of civilization or something similar to that crystal we both grabbed for. There has to be a way back home somewhere around here."
"…I'm not that bad of a liar."
"You're terrible at it, Clark. I've seen two-year-olds who lie better than you do."
"…"
"Unlike some people in this conversation, I don't have amazingly good hearing that one might call 'super' if one was inclined to be dramatic. You have to repeat that louder if you actually want me to understand it."
"Who says I wanted you to understand it?"
"Mmm-hmm. Ah. Well."
"Oh, great. More rock, more water and more lovely lavender skies."
"That almost sounded like me, Clark."
"I'm just… worried. I mean, this is a completely alien world."
"And a completely alien sun. With potentially red sunlight."
"…"
"Did you just shudder?"
"There's gotta be some way to get home!"
"…Do you have some sort of phobia of different solar radiation colors?"
"I just…"
"Once again, I am not graced with superior hearing, Clark. A little louder, please."
"I don't… um, can you… pinch me?"
"You think this is a dream?"
"Just pinch me, Lex."
"…"
"Not my rear end! Ow. That hurt. We are so screwed."
"…Your powers are gone?"
"Lex, your voice just went up two octaves. Ow. That still hurts."
"Why are your powers gone?"
"Um, well… I might lose my powers under red sunlight. I thought you didn't know about that."
"Fuck. We are so doomed. Of course I knew about your powers. I'm not an idiot and you're a terrible liar, Clark."
"Oh."
"Yes, oh."
"…"
"…"
"It is beautiful here though."
"I thought you preferred primary colors."
"Oh, I do, for clothes and stuff. But this is really, really pretty. I kind of like lavender."
"…"
"Um, right now I've got the same ears you do, Lex. What was that?"
"Nothing, just wishing I'd worn a different shirt today. I didn't anticipate adventures to another planet when I dressed."
"You're as bad a liar as I am!"
"I most certainly am not!"
"You are."
"Am not."
"Are we going to that level, Lex?"
"…Maybe."
"…"
"Stop laughing, Clark. We need to get out of here. Hopefully soon."
"Just for the record, I really do like that lavender shirt, Lex."
"…"
"Ow! Quit that! Why do you keep pinching my butt?"
"…"
"…"
"Well, if it's a prelude to kissing I guess it's okay."
"Good."
"…"
"…"
"Hey! We're back!"
"Where is that crystal?"
"Why? I thought you wanted to get out of there?"
"I was thinking of biting your neck, Clark. If you don't have your powers then there's a possibility that I could give you a love mark, that's why."
"…Where is that crystal?"
